Major Accomplishments:

Co-Founded Management Recruiters International in 1965 and built it into the world s largest search firm with close to 1200 offices in 24 countries. This industry pioneer s legacy includes the creation of many recruiting firms and training enitities that have borrowed the MRI system and fundimentals. At least 10% the permanent placement recruiters practicing the profession today, are utilizing the systems and training programs developed, refined and delivered by Alan s team.

Alan pioneered a new and innovative approach in 1977, 'Contingency Search'. Applicant-paid fees were the norm until the early to mid 60 s when Alan introduced the concept of employer-paid fees as the guiding principle of his new firm.

About Alan R. Schonberg:

Chairman and a founding member of WorldBridge Partners, is often credited with creating the contingency search industry. The mastermind of search and placement business processes, services and training delivery solutions, Alan founded Management Recruiters International, Inc. (MRI) in 1965 and served as its CEO for 35 years, then its Chairman for an additional 3 years. Alan built MRI into the largest franchised search and placement network with 1100 offices worldwide.

Alan has incorporated in-depth global and U.S economic, political and business knowledge with an uncanny understanding on the human spirit, family dynamics and community service. Over the years, Alan has served as an officer and president of numerous professional organizations within the search industry. He has been recognized many times and in many venues for not only his leadership in the search industry, but also for his entrepreneurialism and contributions to the business community. Additionally, he has taken an active role in numerous political campaigns at all levels of government, including Presidential, Gubernatorial, Senate, House of Representative and various State positions.

Schonberg has also authored 2 very successful books, Headhunters Confidential and 169 Ways to Score Points With Your Boss.

Over the past 25 years Alan has served as Trustee, Board Member, President or Chairman of approximately 15 human and social service organizations. Major chairmanship roles include The Jewish Family Service Association of Cleveland, Project Love and The Ohio Israel Chamber of Commerce.
