Bruce Lee was born in the United States of America, in 1940 and his parents were Chinese. He began to practice Kung Fu in Hong Kong, when he was very young by influence of his uncle, mister Chao. Bruce was champion of Cha cha cha dance and English box.
In that period, the Chinese mafia explored the traders in Hong Kong and he decided to fight against it. After a lot of cuffs and kicks from both, the criminals decided to kill him and he was forced to stay hidden.
Bruce escaped to the United States with his uncle and he had to make ends meat at a mine, delivered newspapers and washed dishes in one of his uncles’ friend’s Chinese restaurant, while he was studying.
After of high school, he studied philosophy at the Washington University and he met the medicine student Linda Emery, later Linda Lee Caldwell, that studied Kung Fu with him. In 1964, they married and had one son, Brandon, and one daughter, Shannon Lee.
B. L. a Chinese martial artist opened a Center of Kung Fu in Seattle, and created his own stile, Jet Kune Do. He was champion of Karate in California, in Oakland and after he went to Hollywood. He worked in some movies such as Besouro Verde, The Big Boss, Fist of Fury, The Way of the Dragon, Enter de Dragon and Game of Death.
The master of soul died on twenty July 1973 at thirty-two, on the top of his career, of Acute Cerebral Edema, stimulated by Analgesics for his headaches. He was the first to teaching the Chinese Kung Fu in North America for Americans, Africans, Philippines etc.
