Regarded as a icon of sports and respected as a symbol of the true spirit of man kind in terms of sportsmanship, equality, universal respect, grandeur of achievements, the triumph of the fittest and so forth with all the adjectives the have through out every four years described the Olympic torch and the games that the fire in it represents and also and its consequences and responsibilities in unifying the human race around the great ideal of coherence, strength, endurance and fair play; “The Important is to Compete” said Baron Pierre de Coubertin as opened the first Olympic games in the modern era in 1900.
Those games important as they are besides its athletic and today’s highly commercialized world had being stopped in four occasions due to human lack of common cense, stupidity and greed; the games in 1914 and 1916 due to the WW I and in 1940 and 1944 due to WWII and in 1980 the games were moronically boycotted by the USA because of the cold war and in doing so wasted a great opportunity to put an end to that period and allow evolution in human relations to follow its course by approaching a so called enemy with something better and far more effective then weapons: Intelligence !
Now we are approaching a new summer Olympic games this time in China; the games have already started with all sorts of problems due to the very questionable and anti ethical attitudes of the government of that country towards its own people and in especial against the people of Tibet; this same government is also involved in acts of espionage against other countries, supporting wars in Africa and in a world wide spread ring of organized crime that have specialized it self in contraband of counterfeit goods, drugs (that they learned from England)human trafficking for sexual, slave and body parts replacement and the list goes on and on; but even with all this crimes committed against human kind the committee of the games due to the huge amount of money that 3 billion people represents to the greed of the representatives in the COI their personal enterprises and future individual gains China was voted to be the host country in that celebration of among many other great values of human achievement rests in honorable place: The human character; something that I am sure China does not prime for. But never the less may the games continue and diplomacy have to do something about those described flaws in the Chinese government personality, and allow me to say absence of the main ingredient in those games will be the above cited human value as in character .
But this article it is not to criticized even if so deserving the Chinese choice as hosts; it is to also and preponderantly to put a questioning to all readers(all 5 of you) about a very important and as far as I am concerned a very embarrassing and offensive display of that Adolf Hitler and his ideals are still visible carried on and uphold in those very same Olympic games; I am writing about the ceremony of the Torch Relay; that’s when the Olympic fire held in a torch is carried away from Greece and passed hand to hand to the final pyre were it will stay during those games. I do not know about you but I know that this relay ritual was a genius idea of Joseph Goebbels approved and incentive by the fuher Adolf Hitler during the Olympic games in 1936’s Nazi German; the idea was then presented to the COI by the Nazi representative Carl Diem, supported by head of the Nazi Athletics Hans von Tschammer und Osten to be carried and finalized in the stadium designed and build by Albert Spears for the glory of the “Third Reich” .
Well this is it; we are still endorsing and carrying on the traditions held and inspired by a mad and stupid little man and his associates’ including in there all the millions of people through out Europe and in the USA that thought and believed that there was a superior race; witch was proven that they were superior only in idiocy, ruthlessness and in a false and unsubstantiated arrogance; but never the less we are 63 years after the war and its nefarious consequences to human evolution continuing due to ignorance to uphold and venerate the idea and the standards’ for celebration created by a very insignificant and obtuse concept.
I do truly and honestly wish that the human race would learn by its mistakes and grand errors that have coasted us so much in terms of evolution; Hitler has make us walk back to the down of human kind he did not added anything to human history and to man kind in fact he was capable to show us how dangerous we can be to ourselves and how mean spirited we can be when we are induced to do so; all we need is to be pushed and then we can roll down by our own selves; I do wish that losers would not be glorified with memories of their doing; we should be more creative and find another way to carry on the spirit of the Olympic games its Torch and the fire within we should not open opportunities to remembrances of idiots and troglodytes; the new generations do not need enforcement to celebrate mediocrity; the morons know when Adolf was born and other filthy and stinky dates.
