NOVO CÂNCER DE MAMA
Esta é uma informação para as mulheres terem sempre em mente. Em novembro, a irmã de um amigo desenvolveu uma erupção nas mamas, semelhante à que as mulheres desenvolvem quando estão amamentando.
Como a mamografia dela saiu limpa, o médico a tratou com antibióticos. Depois de dois tratamentos, começou a piorar. O médico pediu que ela fizesse outra mamografia e também foi feita uma biópsia, que revelou um tumor maligno, de crescimento rápido. Primeiro fizeram quimioterapia para reduzir o crescimento, depois mastectomia e, em seguida, tratamento completo de quimioterapia e tratamento por radiação. Nove meses depois de intenso tratamento foi determinada sua alta.
Depois de um ano de viver diariamente no seu limite, o câncer ocupou o fígado. Seguiram-se mais quatro tratamentos, quando ela optou por ter qualidade de vida e interrompeu o tratamento, para não mais sofrer os efeitos secundários da quimioterapia.
Passaram-se cinco meses, nos quais ela planejou tudo e cada um dos detalhes dos seus dias finais.
Segue abaixo a mensagem dela:
"Por favor, esteja alerta a qualquer coisa anormal, e seja persistente, procure ajuda imediatamente. A doença de Paget é uma forma estranha de câncer de mama, e aparece na parte externa do peito, no mamilo, na auréola. Pode parecer uma erupção, que então se torna em uma lesão, com aspecto seco. Eu nunca tinha suspeitado que era câncer de mama, mas era. Eu nunca achei meu mamilo diferente, mas a erupção me aborreceu e por isso eu fui ao médico.
Às vezes, incomodava e doía, mas fora isso não me aborreceu. Era somente feio e me entristecia, e não melhorou com todas as pomadas prescritas por meu médico, e por meu dermatologista, para a aparente dermatite. Eles estavam preocupados, mas não me esclareceram que pudesse ser canceroso. Eu percebi que não há muitas mulheres que desconfiam que uma lesão ou erupção na auréola do mamilo possa ser câncer. A minha começou com uma mancha vermelha simples na auréola. Um dos maiores problemas com a doença de Paget é que os sintomas parecem ser inofensivos e, freqüentemente, como uma inflamação ou infecção da pele, incentivando a descoberta e tratamento deles deste modo.
Quais são os sintomas?
1 - Uma irritação persistente, gotejo e ressecamento do mamilo, causando coceira e irritação.
2 - Uma lesão no mamilo que não cura (o meu estava na área da aréola com uma protuberância no centro do mamilo).
3 - Um único mamilo é geralmente afetado. Como diagnosticar isto? O médico deveria fazer um exame físico e sugerir imediatamente uma mamografia das mamas. Mesmo quando a irritação e as crostas parecem dermatite (inflamação da pele), seu médico deveria suspeitar de câncer. Se aparecer somente em uma das mamas, pedir imediatamente, uma biópsia da lesão, para confirmar o que está acontecendo.
Doença de Paget: Esta forma rara de câncer de mama envolve ductos lactíferos do mamilo.
Se isto tivesse sido diagnosticado como câncer de mama desde o início, provavelmente não teria se estendido.
Para todos os leitores: isto é triste.

I want to share this message with you because, recently, Claudia died because of this disease. Please, don”t stop reading this and review this message.

NEW BREAST CANCER
This is an information for the women to have always in mind. In November, a friend”s sister developed an eruption in the mammas, similar to the one that the women develop when they are breastfeeding.
As her mammography came out cleans, the doctor treated her with antibiotics. After two treatments, it began to worsen. The doctor asked that she made another mamografia and it was also made a biopsy, that revealed a malignant tumor, of fast growth. First they made chemotherapy to reduce the growth, later mastectomy and, soon afterwards, complete treatment of chemotherapy and treatment for radiation. Nine months after intense treatment her dispense was determined.
After one year of living daily in her limit, the cancer occupied the liver. They were proceeded more four treatments, when she opted to have life quality and it interrupted the treatment, for no more to suffer the secondary effects of the chemotherapy.
Five months passed, in which she planned all, each one of the details of their final days.
It follows her message below:
"Please, be alert the any abnormal thing, and be persistent, seek help immediately. The disease of Paget is a strange form of breast cancer, and it appears in the external part of the chest, in the nipple, in the halo. It can seem an eruption, that then if it turns in a lesion, with dry aspect. I had never suspected that it was breast cancer, but it was. I never found my different nipple, but the eruption upset me and for that I went to the doctor.
Sometimes, it annoys and it hurt, but , except this, it didn”t upset me. It was only ugly and it became me sad, and it didn”t get better with all of the ointments prescribed by my doctor, and for my dermatologist, for the apparent dermatitis. They were worried, but they didn”t explain to me that could be cancerous. I noticed that there are not a lot of women that distrust that a lesion or eruption in the halo of the nipple can be cancer. Mine began with a simple red stain in the halo. One of the largest problems with the disease of Paget is that the symptoms seem to be inoffensive and, frequently, as an inflammation or infection of the
skin, motivating the discovery and treatment of them this way.
Which are the symptoms?
1 - a persistent irritation, Idrip and drying of the nipple, causing itch and irritation.
2 - a lesion in the nipple that doesn”t cure (mine was in the area of the halo with a protuberance in the center of the nipple).
3 - a single nipple is usually affected. How to diagnose this? The doctor should make a physical exam and to suggest a mamografia of the mammas immediately. But when the irritation and the crusts seem dermatitis (inflammation of the skin), her doctor should suspect of cancer. If it appear only in one of the mammas, to ask immediately, a biopsy of the lesion, to confirm what is happening.
Disease of Paget: This rare form of breast cancer involves ducts lactíferos of the nipple.
If this had been diagnosed as breast cancer since the beginning, it would not probably have extended.
