I did watched recently on TV a reportage by the Al Jazeera network about the intentions of the brasilian government to pave the ill fated road that the dictators build in the 70ths within the Amazon Jungle with the clear intentions of randomly explore for personal gain the riches in the forest, murderer all the native inhabitants and take out of the rural and metropolitan areas of the country all the doomed and undesirable people throwing them in there so they would not be seeing, become a harassment a difficulty and with the passing of time they would inexorably die for lack of assistance or in the hands of hired assassins with no one to witness or complain.
They almost achieved their full intent : the natives were competently decimated, the wealth ended up in that first moment on their illegal and secret bank accounts in the fiscal paradises on laundromat countries were it does not matter the origin of the money like Switzerland, Lichtenstein, Monaco, etc… also expropriated for their purposes huge parts of the then dense forest and started megalomaniac projects like the road it self, dams, hydroelectric, paper plants, agro projects, logging, mining and every damaging thing to that fragile environment that could bring them money; and in that beginning they got read also of all the poor undesirable ones sending them to that forsaken part of Brasil with the expectation of cheap labor till death for those same enterprises.

So; now in another shameful chapter in the human disgrace that presents itself in that region the actual government has plans to pave the Cuiabá Santarém road the BR 163: and this will be paving a road to the final blow in the wounded forest it’s demise and end; watts left will be finished and its grand value to the planet will cease to exist, more people will die and the whole structure of livability in the planet will be seriously damaged, the financial benefits(if you can call that) are going to the same unscrupulous ones and the doomed will be fucked.
The governor of Mato Grosso Blairo Maggi is the biggest soy planter in the world and is recognized as the great deforestations promoter in the state and in the planet, he is responsible for the total destruction of the forest for the insane culture of grain for animal food, his connections with the timber industry include the same people that destroyed the forest’s in Malaysia and Indonesia and because off his greed the Amazon jungle will inevitably have the same end as those before luxurious sources of life. And in Brasil he is not alone in that criminal endevour; his associates in destruction are: Ivo Cassol governor of Rondônia and unexplainably by honest standards the richest man in the state and in the country, Amazonino Mendes Ex and twice governor of the state of Amazonas, a millionaire that got elected distributing free chain saws during his campaign and the governor of the state of Pará were the city of Santarém is located Ana Julia Careppa who as a woman gave a show of insensibility when was discovered that a 15 years old girl was in a cell with 30 other prisoners and the catch was that her colleagues of ill faith were all 30th MANS; and that was not a isolated case in the state as a mater of fact was a well known and accepted by the state powers a general practice.
