What s a brother or a friend
if not someone whose interest comes up
with a smile or gesture to where frienship starts
until there s something better to mind at hand
The whore leaves her client as money runs out
like your mate may walk away if he s pissed off
Hand in hand with her you don t know her thoughts
or if she ll be there the day you re washed off
There s no faith I can lay on men
for as son as there s no interest involved
I won t fit the evil or fair
Only one I could lay belief on
the King whose arms were spred on the cross
