In her eyes
everyone sees the woman
everyone is allowed to see.
In her eyes
the woman she is supposed to be.
In her eyes,
someplace they think she alows them to go.
In her eyes,
the only one she wants them to know.
When she cries,
the only one that she knows.
In her tears,
the one she so well learned to hide
between that so well built white lies:
the place in that so bloody inside
that no one else could ever know,
the one and only place
only she can go.
